About FRJC

The fascinating and remote Jewish communities of Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Myanmar, Siberia, Singapore, South Korea and Vietnam are beneath the radar of traditional Jewish charities. FRJC is the only not-for-profit organization dedicated exclusively to preserving and promoting these endangered Jewish communities on the periphery of the Diaspora.

FRJC provides support of the "teach-a-man-to-fish" kind so that they become viable and sustainable communities. And our all-volunteer operation enabled 100% of donations to go toward these projects. Since FRJC was founded in 2002, more than $1.3 Million had been distributed.

Many lasting accomplishments were made possible by your generosity which also enabled FRJC to contribute to programs founded by extraordinary institutions and people including Dr. Sam Gruber, Ralphy Jhirad, Seth Kaplan, Dr. Nathan Katz, Bernard Krisher, Ezekiel Malekar, Prof. Pan Guang, Sammy Samuels, the Schusterman Family Foundation, the Sino-Judaic Institute, Prof. Xu Xin and others:

We wish to express our warmest gratitude to the thousands of people who traveled with Rabbi Tokayer to these exotic lands and experienced the stories firsthand. Your support over these past decades has made a world of difference.

FRJC also gratefully acknowledges Mr. Tsutomu Uchida who generously funded this platform to give the world an opportunity to appreciate the lifetime work of Rabbi Marvin Tokayer in writing the missing chapter of the Jewish experience and the untold stories of Jewish life in India and the Far East.
